A plethora of prints, textures and shapes, Karl's latest boucle-swathed collection mixes iconic Coco with the modernity of Dubai circa 2014. The collection commences with beautiful tweeds and patchwork houndstooth, before adding colours more conventionally associated with the Middle-East (see the centre image on the fourth row), where this pre collection took its inspiration from and was therefore shown. A move away from classic Chanel took us through an array of excessive floral prints, though staying true to Coco's legacy by featuring plenty of camellias. Add layered strings of long costume pearls and a little sparkle throughout, and you'll find that this Pre Spring/Summer 2015 collection is the perfect fusion of all things Chanel, both old and new.
