I've noticed recently that I haven't been posting quite as frequently as I'd like, and there is an explanation. Rather than write a few small, fragmented lifestyle posts, I thought I'd lump all of the latest things that have happened into one big update!
Back in March, I wrote a post on my favourite fashion app, SHAREIGHT. If you aren't familiar with the app, I'd suggest popping over to that post for a little bit of 'what is it?' context. In May I went up to London to meet the team in their swanky office, see the new design which is launching in September (get excited people), and be asked a few questions about my own blog and personal style taste. We spoke about my blog content, favourite designers and style icons, where I like to shop and what I would splurge on if money was no object. In terms of the slight decrease in posts in the last month or two, that is because I have just finished university, moved back home, started full time work and graduated! It's been rather busy. I'm working full-time in the fragrance department of a large department store and have graduated from the University of Warwick with a 2:1 in Film and Literature. My graduation day was actually a lot more hectic than I had anticipated, but we drove home through the Cotswolds and found a beautiful traditional English pub which remedied all the stresses of the day. For anyone in Stow-on-the-Wold or anywhere nearby, do take a trip to The White Hart. It had a perfectly relaxed atmosphere and the food was divine! We also had lovely service from a young waiter who gave me a free glass of champagne as a congratulations for graduating. #babe

My grand plan is to go into fashion journalism, but for now I just need to be at home and earn some cash whilst doing something I enjoy. Working on the cosmetics floor of a store is a bit of a dream for me, and I am currently planning a favourite fragrances post for you all. Now that I'm settling into more of a routine I plan to be blogging much more regularly again, and I'm sorry for the minor dry spell! I hope you've all enjoyed this little peek into my last month or so, and I'll leave you with the rite of passage mortarboard shot. Thank you to the lovely Warwick film department, and thank you to all of you for reading!
