So if you read my recent post on my London Weekend Handbag Essentials, you'll know that I spent last weekend in the capital with my boyfriend! We had a lovely two days, having a touristy wander around town on the Saturday and going to be part of the audience for Channel 4 show 'Child Genius' on the Sunday (my boyfriend's favourite show and thus his birthday present). Watching the semi-final of the show was really fun as the children were unbelievably clever and seeing how it was all put together was very interesting from a film student's point of view. Unfortunately though we weren't allowed to take any photos inside The Royal Institution, but here are my snaps of our Saturday adventures.

I always forget how pretty London is in terms of its architecture and I definitely look forward to spending some more time there in the future getting to know the less touristy ends of town. As this was a birthday trip for my boyfriend we spent more time in galleries and museums than blog-worthy coffee shops and beauty stores, but I am already planning my next (and significantly more feminine) trip, which will be very lifestyle indeed!
