MFW #5: Dolce & Gabbana, MSGM | Autumn-Winter 2014-15: Ready-To-Wear

A flawless and enchanting collection by Dolce & Gabbana. Red riding hood inspired coats, antique keys, florals and plenty of woodland creatures, this collection takes us into a whole other realm, escaping from the hard, day-to-day looks of collections gone by. The Dolce & Gabbana signature silhouette (mini dress, 3/4 length sleeves) is renewed once again with various patterns and fabrics, whilst the finale was a literally sparkling end to an other worldly show. Well done D&G.

I just love the florals in this collection. From the opening black and burnt orange looks as we saw in the Veronica Beard collection at NYFW, to the beautiful and mysterious silver and navy suit at the end, florals are evidently not just for spring. I love the masculine coats presented here, especially when injected with feminine pinks and pretty beiges. Also, be prepared for your feet to thank you come Autumn, because flats are most definitely in again.
