Theyskens Theory | Autumn/Winter 2014-15: Ready-To-Wear, NYFW
Olivier Theyskens has done an amazing job of revamping classics in this collection by taking traditional and simplistic pieces and adding panels and underskirts of different materials. I especially like the second look here as well as the first look on the second row; the combination of patterns in different tiers make these classic items look really fresh and crisp. I also love the long beige coat in the centre photograph; with the roll neck jumper and ankle grazing tailored trousers this look screams Audrey Hepburn at me, and that can never be a bad thing. This collection has also put the classic thick black belt on my To Buy list; I didn't realise that they could look quite so chic.
