Marissa Webb | Autumn/Winter 2014-15: Ready-To-Wear, NYFW

I have a lot of love for this collection. I was feeling cheated having one mere winter to exploit my love for plaid and pink, so to see it crop up for another A/W season is a dream. I love the combination of similar but not entirely the same checks in this collection, as well as the layering of different tweeds. Despite the notion that people with true style mix and match pieces from various designers and seasons, I could happily wear some of these outfits straight off the catwalk; assuming I had cash to spare of course. The pink and red splashes at the end of the collection are a welcome continuation of the femininity that swept the fashion world in the last few months, whilst the temptation to now go and invest in a faux fur snood is now rife.
