Today I popped into Leamington town centre to purchase a few make up goodies that have been on my to-buy list for far too long. Although usually a die hard Boots girl, I've ventured into Superdrug a few times recently, primarily because its closer to my house and also because I recently lost my Boots Advantage Card. However I've found through my latest spree that Superdrug is significantly cheaper! For example, the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter I picked up was supposed to be £7.99, and Superdrug were selling it for £5. Who can resist a bargain like that?
Several of these products have been bought as a result of watching Tanya Burr's videos for years, including the Maybelline Baby Lips range, the Collection 2000 concealer and the Revlon Lip Butter that she used in her most recent make up tutorial that I mentioned yesterday. Maybelline's Baby Skin Primer has been hugely hyped about by beauty bloggers all over the internet since its release, as well as the Naked-inspired MUA palette that I read about on Miss Budget Beauty this morning. The MUA blusher was the only product that I hadn't looked into before buying, but I thought that the colours were so pretty and perfect for Spring, so fingers crossed it impresses me!
Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser, £7.99 (buy one get one half price in Superdrug); MUA Eyeshadow Palette 'Undressed', £4; Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in 'Hydrate', £2.99; Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in 'Juicy Papaya', £5; MUA Shimmer Kiss Blush in 'Pink', £3; Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in 'Medium 3', £4.19
With the various offers included, my Superdrug beauty haul came to around £25. I am so impressed with the prices of these products and I can't wait to test them out and hopefully review some of them for you. I hope you're all having a lovely weekend and let me know in the comments below if you've tried any of these products; I'd love to know your thoughts on them!
