First of all are a few beauty buys, old and new. I have been wearing J'adore Dior for around five years now and it still remains to be my favourite scent. Unfortunately for me, it is very expensive and I only have a few precious drops left! So fingers crossed some fantastically generous person will make my Christmas with a new bottle. Another beauty replenishment is Benefit's They're Real! mascara; this is hands down the best mascara I have ever used and I'm finally running out having bought my last bottle in August. Mascaras are supposed to last approximately three months so that would make it time for a new one! Finally on my beauty list is Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream. I have heard its fantastic and never tried it; needless to say I am intrigued by the hype.
As usual there are masses of fashion books on my list. I tend to suggest them to my family as ideas every birthday or Christmas but they've always opted to buy other things (for which of course I am grateful!) I think if one of these doesn't fall out of Santa's sleigh this year I may have to purchase one myself. I also feel the need to explain the first two books; as some of you will know I am not a cook. At all. So it may surprise you to see a Laura Ashley recipe book on the list. However I spotted this in WHSmiths a few days ago and it is so pretty that its made me want to cook! The second of the books is a One Line a Day diary that I found on amazon. I'm terrible at keeping diaries as I never know what I should be writing, so one line might just be perfect for me. I'm also a very sentimental person so I imagine that looking back at the same day from up to five years ago would be a real treat for me!
Next up on the list are some beautiful pieces of jewellery! As per my favourite jeweler Zara Taylor has hit the list hard. These are just some of the many pieces I would love to receive for Christmas. I've had my eye on the leaf bracelet for over a year; I'm not much of a bracelet person (I tend to find one I like and wear it until it falls off), but this piece is so dainty and a little bit different to what you'd find in high street stores, I am very eager to get it on my wrist! The second is the beautiful crescent moon necklace which is similar to something I saw a friend wearing the other day and looked incredibly cute. Finally is a more expensive (and therefore more of a dream list piece!) by Monica Vinader. I have a bracelet by the jeweler that I was given for my 18th birthday and it really is beautiful, high quality jewellery. I spotted the lovely Lana Del Rey sporting a green ring back at a Mulberry dinner last year here and have been dying to get my hands on one similar ever since. I love the irregular shape of the band and think that the green onyx is exceptionally beautiful.
Finally here are some pretty pieces that didn't quite fit into a section! First is a Cath Kidston mug that I think I will probably end up buying myself as its too cute and festive to wait until Christmas day, and secondly are three pairs of Zara flats: a princess pair, an Audrey in Funny Face pair, and a city street pair. I couldn't pick one so thought I'd make a little collage of all three. Check out the Zara website for more shoespiration!
So that is it for my Christmas list, these things are all very beautiful and I do not by any means expect to receive them all! I would be happy enough to sit here and look at them forever let alone to find any of them under my tree.
(But if you are silly levels of wealthy and want to spoil a girl, feel free to send over a Chanel 2.55 or a Mulberry Jacquard scarf. If you want.)
What are you hoping to open on Christmas morning? Let me know in the comments below what you're asking Santa for and thank you for reading!
